“Few have tackled this ambitious work more successfully than the Godalming Choral Society under their young conductor Michael Veazey, last Saturday in Charterhouse Chapel. The chorus impressed from the outset with a tremendous cry of ‘‘Help Lord’, and they managed the dramatic choruses with great aplomb coupled with excellent diction.“
