Godalming Choral Society would like to thank you for your interest and hope that you would wish to support us in the coming season.

Mendelssohn’s ‘Elijah’ is the main work for the concert on 21 November 09. The concert is a little earlier this year because we are doing the joint concert with the Godalming Band on 19 December. Elijah is a big work and we hope to fill the Chapel on that evening.

At Godalming Choral Society we like to expand our links with the local community and to increase the number of supporters. We provide the opportunity for local people to join a choir that performs a wide variety of music, both familiar and less well known. We always achieve a professional result in singing and in concert presentation, and we value the warmth and friendliness within the choir. In particular we value liaison with local people, groups and organisations.

Would you become a Patron?

We have a choice of Gold or Silver

By becoming a Patron (minimum donation Gold £100, Silver £60 per year) you can be a part of this flourishing choir. An example benefit to you as a Silver Patron is two tickets for the price of one for the three main concerts. Gold Patrons have further benefits, including reserved seats. We list all Patrons in programmes, we invite you to all of our social events and we send you our regular newsletters, either by email or post.

By becoming a Friend at an annual subscription of £10 per year you would receive the Society’s termly newsletter and an acknowledgement in concert programmes. You would be entitled to purchase a season ticket for the three main concerts at the discounted price of £28. An application form is enclosed.

We greatly value your help and hope that both existing and new patrons and friends will continue to support us in the exciting years to come.
